KTRA-FM - Number One Country is the Four Corners heritage country music station. 102 KTRA is the home of "Big D and Bubba" in the morning, and the "Classic Country Cafe" with Dave Schaefer. KTRA features music from artists like George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift and more. KTRA is also the Four Corners home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Station History

KTRA began operations in early 1997 under the ownership of Matt Runnels. KTRA then, and today, has always had a country music format. KTRA is the heritage country station in the Four Corners area.
In 1995, the station was acquired by J. Thomas Development, which at the time owned KCQL-AM/KKFG-FM/KDAG-FM/KRZE-AM.
In 1997, KTRA was sold to Capstar, then AMFM, Inc., and today is Clear Channel Communications, Inc.
